01 · Problem
What the client ran into
For a photographer, every pixel that is not their work is a distraction. At the same time the site has to stay fast with dozens of high-quality images on it.
02 · Approach
How I built it
- A calm, light layout in which the imagery is the only colour
- Work in a grid with project names, without any surplus interface
- Images optimised so the site keeps loading fast
- A short route to contact for enquiries
03 · Result
What it delivered
- ✓The portfolio takes centre stage instead of the website
- ✓New commissions can be added in-house
- ✓Fast loading despite all the imagery
“Good to spar with Bas about building the site, but also in the aftercare and whenever changes have to be made. Recommended!”
