Add AI to your website

AI on your website that answers
from your own content.

For companies whose visitors keep asking the same questions while the answer is already somewhere on the site. I build AI into your website: an assistant that answers from your own pages, products and data, shows its source and hands over to a person as soon as it does not know. Not a third-party widget sitting on top.

Avitly
Sound familiar

Why visitors leave before they ask anything.

01

The answer is there, nobody finds it

Delivery time, terms or sizing are on page four. Visitors search twice and then call, or leave.

02

The same questions in the inbox

Every week the same ten questions by email and phone. Answering them costs hours and the answer is the same every time.

03

A search bar that matches words

Someone types 'raincoat' and finds nothing because the product is called 'waterproof jacket'. The visitor concludes you do not sell it.

04

A chatbot that just says things

A standard widget naming prices and delivery times that are based on nothing. That costs more trust than no chat at all.

05

Enquiries missing half the information

A contact form saying 'please send a quote'. Then three emails back and forth before you know what someone needs.

06

Nobody is there after hours

Most visitors come in the evening. Anyone with a question then waits until tomorrow or looks elsewhere.

How it works

From separate pages to a site that answers.

01

Decide what it may talk about

Which pages, products and documents are the source, and what it stays away from. Prices and stock come from your data, never from the model.

02

Connect it to your content

The assistant searches your own texts and product data and answers only with what it finds there, with a link to the page it came from.

03

A way out to a person

If it does not know, it says so and passes the question to your form or inbox, including what the visitor already told it.

04

Measure and cap

A daily limit on usage, protection against abuse and an overview of the questions it could not answer. That last one is your list of missing content.

In detail
01

What AI can do on a website

AI in a website is more than a chat window in the bottom right corner. The applications that work have one thing in common: they use what is already on your site and in your systems, and they shorten the way to an answer.

Answering questions

Delivery time, terms, service area, how something works. The answer comes from your own pages and links to where it says so.

Search by meaning

A search that understands what someone means instead of which word they typed, across products, articles and documents.

Preparing enquiries

The visitor says in plain language what they are looking for, and you get an enquiry with the details you need to quote.

Helping to choose

In a webshop or catalogue: ask a few questions and end up at the products that fit, with the real price and stock.

02

What it should not do

An assistant on a public website speaks for your company to everyone who passes by. So what it may not do matters at least as much as what it can.

The rules are the same as for an assistant in business software: no answer without a source, calculation through a calculation function, and an on-off switch for the whole thing. How that is put together technically is on AI assistant in your own software.

  • No made-up prices or delivery times
  • No commitments on behalf of your company
  • Answers only from designated sources
  • Saying when it does not know
  • No personal data kept without a reason
  • One switch to turn it off
03

What you need to get started

Content that is correct. An assistant makes findable what is there; if nothing is there or it is wrong, that comes first. Often the list of questions clients now ask by email is the best starting point.

If it also needs orders, stock or client data, it belongs behind a login: in a client portal, where each client only gets their own data back. If that data sits in separate packages, the integrations come first.

If your current site is not suited to building something into, it starts at website development. The wider story on AI in your business processes is on AI integration for business.

04

What it costs

The build is a fixed amount you hear up front. Usage you pay directly to the model provider, capped with a daily limit, so a busy day or a bot does not become an open-ended bill.

How pricing works is on pricing. Below is a working assistant to try; there are more examples on demos.

An assistant inside your own application

Fixed sample conversation · no language model runs here

Pick a question the way an employee would ask it:

Every answer comes from a tool that fetches your own data, with the permissions of the person asking. Creating and changing never happens by itself.

Frequently asked questions
How do you add AI to a website?
By building an assistant that searches your own content and data and answers with that. The keys of the AI model stay on the server, the assistant lives in your own site and branding, and usage is capped.
Is a standard chatbot widget not enough?
For a handful of fixed questions often yes, and then that is the cheapest route. Custom pays off when the answers have to come from your own products or data, when something has to happen with the question, or when you do not want a third party holding your visitors' conversations.
Can the assistant give wrong answers?
It may only answer with what it finds in the designated sources, and prices and stock come straight from your data. If it finds nothing, it says so and hands over. It can still go wrong when the content itself is wrong; that is why you see which questions it received.
Does it work on a WordPress site or webshop?
Usually yes: the assistant runs as its own part that is placed on the site and can reach your content and products. How cleanly that goes depends on the platform; you hear that after a look at the site, before you pay anything.
What does usage cost per month?
That depends on the number of questions and the chosen model, and you pay it directly to the provider. There is a daily limit, so the amount has a ceiling you set yourself.
What happens to my visitors' data?
Only the question and the fetched content go to the provider you choose. Conversation content is not stored by default, your site runs inside the EU and you get a data processing agreement. Visitors see that they are talking to AI.
